Nestled behind a wooden fence and surrounded by abundant native trees is my home studio. The name comes in part from Harper Lee’s novel and a remarkable experience I had with a very persistent mockingbird here in Key West. Some Native American teachings say that if a mockingbird makes its presence known to you, it is time to share your gifts with the world.

From this vein, my home, my place to create, is named Mockingbird Studio.
